Today's activity at edm Korean was making kimchi.

First, Let's learn about kimchi.

Kimchi is a traditional Korean side dish made by fermenting vegetables, most commonly napa cabbage and radish, with a variety of seasonings such as red chili pepper flakes, garlic, ginger, and fish sauce. It is known for its bold, spicy, and tangy flavor and is a staple in Korean cuisine.

Kimchi is not only enjoyed as a side dish but also used as an ingredient in many Korean dishes, like kimchi stew (kimchi jjigae), kimchi fried rice (kimchi bokkeum-bap), and kimchi pancakes (kimchi jeon). It is highly regarded for its health benefits, as it is rich in vitamins, probiotics, and antioxidants.

It was a wonderful experience to learn about kimchi, make it myself, and enjoy the process. It was even more meaningful because we could take home the kimchi we made.
